I’ve officially completed my coursework at Teachers College in the EdD Dance Education program and have moved on to the dissertation phase!

Alongside my Doctoral work this spring and summer I am looking forward to participating in and presenting at a host of conferences and gatherings both here and abroad with a focus on Somatic Movement Education and Early Childhood Dance Education.

Ecosomatics workshop and a one-day conference in St. George, Utah
I will be presenting on the life and work of Nancy Topf and participating in the workshop.

June
June 22-23
Children and Youth Performance Conference in Toronto, Canada
I will be presenting as part of the ‘case studies’ portion of the conference

July
July 5–12
DaCi International in Ljubljana Slovenia
I will be presenting my research in somatic pedagogy for early childhood and participating in the larger conference.

July–August
Creative dance classes with a focus on somatics for the nursery school children at 92NY’s summer camp K’Ton Ton.
